Apprenticeship

Our Apprenticeship Program

BBEC works with the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of Independent Electrical Contractor, IEC, in training apprentice electrical contractors in the area. Each apprentice goes through a 4-year apprenticeship program at the IEC training facility in Mechanicsburg and York, Pennsylvania. The program allows for apprentices to work full time while getting hands on experience.

The goal of Central PA IEC is to promote the electrical construction industry through education and training, support of merit shop contracting, and promotion of the electrical trades as a viable career path.
