Employee Stock Ownership Plan
The BBEC Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is a plan in which the company contributes to a stock plan for the benefit of the company’s employees. Employees become vested in the program and gain shares over time. With an ownership stake in the company, and directly benefiting from improvement in the value of the company's stock, BBEC employees are highly motivated to perform at their best. Our clients benefit through the engagement of our “Employee Owners” and their desire to provide our clients with superior productivity and quality. As a founding member of the Central PA IEC apprenticeship program, we are able to invest in the highest level of electrical training and technology advancements for all of our employees. With average tenures of 20+ years for each of our leadership teams including management, estimators, and project managers; 18+ years for electrical Foreman, and over 10 years for our Journeyman electricians; we truly have a strong, long-term, committed group of employees. Over time, it has become very clear that our continued success is a direct result of the development and dedication of our employees.
